We're doing it again! After receiving positive feedback from the last myxer, we are doing it again and doing it big at Wings, Pizza N Things located at 13420 SH 249 Ste. A; Houston, TX 77086. Doors open at 7:30 to everyone 21 and up!

And we're going to change it up a little bit! The doors are open for all of Aldine District Class of 2000!!! Anybody is welcome, but class of 2000- you are the guests of honor! Come, hang out, relax... $20 gets you into a club, plus parking, plus drinks.... $15 with us gets you all you can eat pizza and wings and your first drink free if you get there before 8:30*! Eisenhower Class of 2000 is doing a Garage Sale Fundraiser on April 9 and 10 from 8am-2pm Location: TBA. We need items to sell!! Clean out your closet, garage, attic, etc!!! 02/28/10 REUNION MEETING LOCATION CHANGE!!!

The next reunion meeting,which will be held Feburary 28, 2010 has changed
locations. It will be held at BJ's Brewhouse, located on 7637 FM 1960 Rd W @ 7
pm!! PLEASE BRING ALL UPDATED INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR SPECIFIC TOPIC. This
meeting will be very deatailed, and we will be locking in locations and dates,
and prices. THIS IS MORE OF A MEETING THEN A SOCIAL EVENT!!! Bring your pen and

We will be booking 2 buses to take us to Louisiana for a night of gambling fun!!! Details below:

Greetings all Big IKE c/o 2000 Alumni!!!! The class reunion committee is taking a bus trip to Louisiana Coushatta Resort and Casino in June 2010. This is one of our big fundraisers to raise money for the class Reunion weekend events, which in turn will lower the cost of the ticket prices for the events. We are looking at reserving two buses, which seats 55 persons each. The plan is to leave on a Friday night around 8pm and return to Houston Saturday morning around 7am (note: times and dates are tentative). There will be no rooms reserved, but if you would like to reserve a room you can contact Coushatta and reserve one yourself. The cost is 10 dollars per person. You are welcome to invite guests. You must be 21 years of age or older to go and have a valid drivers license or passport. I need all monies paid in advance on or before April 1, 2010. We will soon have pay pal set up on the website, or you can pay at the next meeting which will be February 28, 2010 @ Claytons @ 7pm. January 2010 Reunion Meeting

Hello everyone! Thank you so much everyone for your participation and dedication in making sure that our class reunion is not only one of the best, but the very best! I would love to see the class of 2000 come together like we know how and make this reunion nothing short of pure success! So for those that did not get all of the information, I am sending out a mass email to everyone so that 1- We all have contact with eachother, and 2- We all know where we could jump in and help out. Class of 2000 Reunion Schedule of Events

(This information is subject to change based upon final costs and final head count)

When: Homecoming weekend 2010

Fri- Homecoming game, 300/Lucky Strikes bowling

Sat- Main Event (Reunion venue to be announced later)

Sun- Family day in the park (Alexander Deussen Park)

We currently need someone to work on a class of 2000 website. I will get with my cousin to see if he can unless someone is already familiar with how to do these things. We'd also like to set up pay pal on the website to help generate more money from classmates that can not make it to the fundraising events. I am currently awaiting a response from my cousin to see if he can do this for us.

Alessia Calhoun will be checking on a photographer and/or videographer. Hopefully, we will have albums or videos to sell from the many events. Alessia, please respond when you get this confirmed or not so that we can find someone else to do it in time.

Also, we'd love to have a slideshow moment during the reunion so any old photos you might have from your old senior books, email them to me. If you can not do this, please msg me and I will give you my address to mail them to me and have them mailed back to you at a later date.

Phallen Lemons presented the idea of doing interviews on video about favorite Ike memories. This could be part of the video of teh entire reunion events. I love this idea! Phallen, I'll let you have that. Get with Alessia when she confirms the videographer.

Bianca Avery will speak with Tasha Williams about possibly having some t-shirts made. These we would wear on either Fri or Sun of the reunion. Bianca, don't forget!

These are the fundraising events we have planned so far. If there is any one you'd like to join in and help out with, please email or contact the committee already established (names in parentheses) and once you guys get the ball rolling, let the rest of us know and we can get in where we fit in!

Eisenhower's basketball game, c/o 2000 vs. c/o 2010. Please check on how we can generate our profit through ticket sales and concessions without taking away from our school. (Belinda Michelle, Robert Turner, Corey Williams)

Club fundraiser. Here we will try to raise money through club entry and perhaps a drink names after our class or school (i.e, Ike Punch 2000) (Corey Williams, Antonio Coleman)

Bus trip to casino, Austin to party on sixth street. (Corey Williams, Twyla Thompson, Kendra Nelson)

Flag football game, Ike c/o 2000 vs. Aldine c/o 2000. (Corey Williams)

Bowling, skating (Lakesha Lee, Latoya Winfrey)

Pizza, Wings, and More. (Krischen Rodriguez)

Movie theater. We will try to rent out a theater for the next bug movie and earn money for the reunion through ticket sales.

Car Wash (Robert Turner)

Another good idea presented for anyone who was part of a team in highschool, contact these members and try to come up with some type of fundraising event through your organization. (Shalee Dorsey- Eaglettes)

Jewelry making- fundraising through sales of handmade jewelry (Alessia Calhoun)

Bike show. If enough graduating members have or know someone who has a bike, we could try to have some type of bike show and fundraise money through this. (Paul Green, Carlos Burrell)

Additional information:

For the yacht party, if everyone brings a bottle and donates it to the bar, we could have open bar all night! Who's down? lol.

Corey, get with Melissa Martinez about getting the beer for the park.

Melissa Martinez's husband is a deejay. Melissa, don't forget to ask him about deejaying at the park as well.

Our next reunion meeting has been scheduled for Feb 28th at Clayton's again at 7. We also expect to have our first fundraising event planned and ready to go by then.
